The Leduc Black Gold Pro Rodeo & Exhibition Association has opened registration for the Black Gold Days Parade, which will take place in Leduc, Alberta, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, as part of rodeo weekend.
The parade is set to start at 10 a.m. and will follow a route through downtown Leduc along 50 Street. Community groups, businesses and other organizations can apply to take part through forms on the rodeo website.
Entry forms must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. before the parade, and applicants must include General Liability and Property Insurance information. The parade is the opening event for the Black Gold Pro Rodeo, which runs from May 28 to 31 at the Leduc Recreation Centre.
The 57th annual rodeo will include professional rodeo performances, a midway, a trade fair with 131 booths, pancake breakfasts, a classic car show and the Rodeo Cabaret. The association also held a general meeting on May 14 at 6 p.m. at its Leduc office to discuss volunteer and sponsor opportunities.
