The Leduc Boat Club has officially opened registration for its 2026 summer youth camps in Leduc, Alberta. These week-long programs will run throughout July and August 2026, providing local children and teenagers with outdoor activities on the water.
Youth between the ages of 10 and 17 can participate in full-day paddling camps that run from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. These sessions include instruction on how to use canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards.
The paddling camps are limited to 12 participants each week and cost $325.00 per person. For older youth aged 14 to 17, the club also offers a specialized rowing camp for $350.00, which is limited to eight participants per session.
Families who need financial help to pay for the camps can apply for assistance through the Jumpstart program. The boat club is part of the Telford Lake Alberta Training Centre Society and aims to make water sports accessible to everyone in the community.
