Halton Regional Police are asking the public to help identify a pickup truck and its driver after a hit-and-run collision left a motorcyclist with serious injuries in Milton, Ontario.
The crash happened on June 24, 2026, at about 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Regional Road 25 and Etheridge Avenue. Police say a grey Toyota Tacoma was turning left onto Etheridge Avenue when it struck the motorcycle. The truck then sped away from the scene without stopping.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with what police describe as serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police released an image of the suspect vehicle on July 14, 2026, hoping someone might recognize it. The truck has damage on the passenger side, black rims, and a roof rack.
Under Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act, drivers involved in a collision must stay at the scene. Leaving can lead to fines between $400 and $2,000, seven demerit points, and up to six months in jail. Charges can be more severe if someone is hurt or killed.
