The Naismith Basketball Association is hosting a “Pancake and Hoops” fundraiser on Saturday, March 7, 2026, to support youth sports and local charitable work in Mississippi Mills, Ontario.
The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Almonte Legion upstairs hall at 100 Bridge Street. Visitors can enjoy a meal of pancakes and sausages along with coffee, tea, and juice.
Admission for the breakfast is $10 for adults and $6 for children. Money raised during the morning will be split between the association’s U14 Girls Competitive Basketball team and the Love 4 Reesie Foundation.
The Love 4 Reesie Foundation is a local non-profit that helps children in the community through various initiatives. This event provides a low-cost activity for neighbours to support local teams and services in the town known as the birthplace of basketball.
