The Rimbey Community Library is continuing its Music in the Park series with a free outdoor show on August 28, 2026, at Pas Ka Poo Park. Local act Beautiful Outlaw takes the stage at 7 p.m., followed by Edmonton-based folk band Rosina Cove at 8 p.m.
The evening is part of the library’s Music in the Park series, which runs on the last Friday of each month from May through September. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the live music in the historic park setting.
Pas Ka Poo Park gets its name from the Cree term for the Blindman River and houses 16 museum buildings, including the Smithson International Truck Museum with the world’s largest collection of International trucks.
Rosina Cove is led by Peter Stone, formerly of the folk duo 100 Mile House. The band formed in 2016 and released its debut album ‘Someday We Will Make It There,’ blending folk and Americana sounds.
The upcoming concert follows earlier performances in the series, including Tyson Prior on June 26 and Skip the Crickets with John Hewitt on July 31. The series closes on September 25 with Quyntessential and TENO2.
