The 73rd annual spring show hosted by the Saanich Peninsula Arts & Crafts Society returns to Sidney, British Columbia, this weekend, offering residents a chance to view and purchase thousands of original works from local creators.
The exhibition takes place at the Mary Winspear Centre on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 2026. Doors will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, with admission priced at $15 per person.
Visitors can explore more than 2,000 pieces of art created by the society’s members. The collection features a wide variety of mediums, including floral displays, pottery, jewellery, paintings, sculptures, and fibre art. All items on display are available for purchase, providing an opportunity to support over 400 member artists who serve the Saanich Peninsula, Greater Victoria, and the Gulf Islands.
The Mary Winspear Centre, located at 2243 Beacon Avenue, is a fully wheelchair-accessible venue. In addition to the exhibition, the society maintains a long-standing commitment to local education through the C.C. Thomas Student Scholarship. Established in 1972, the program provides two $1,000 awards annually to high school graduates who are pursuing studies in the visual arts.
