Paul’s Bicycle Repair & Sports Exchange is closing its doors in St. Thomas, Ontario, after more than 30 years of business. The shop at 115 Ross Street is holding a final three-day sale to clear out all remaining inventory, including bicycles and accessories.
Owner Paul Fagan opened the shop in 1995 in the same building that previously housed a variety store owned by his in-laws. He reached a major milestone by celebrating the 30th anniversary of the business in May 2025.
Fagan previously indicated in July 2025 that health challenges and a decrease in physical ability led to the decision to end operations. The shop served customers from across the region for three decades and provided local services like bicycle repairs and skate sharpening.
Local cyclists can still access services at St. Thomas Cycles, located at 220 Edward Street. The City of St. Thomas remains a designated bicycle-friendly community and continues to maintain its local trail networks.
