The St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce is hosting a large networking event in St. Thomas on May 20, 2026, offering more than $10,000 in prizes to local business professionals. The event takes place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the historic CASO Station, located at 750 Talbot Street.
This Business After 5 gathering serves as a dual celebration, marking a regular opportunity for members to connect while also recognizing the 15th anniversary of local radio station 94.1 myFM. The radio station, which first launched on May 20, 2011, is co-hosting the event with the Chamber.
Established in 1869, the Chamber currently represents over 625 member businesses in St. Thomas and Elgin County. Admission to the networking session is free for all Chamber members. Those who are not yet members but are interested in attending should contact the Chamber office for more information.
The choice of venue highlights a significant piece of local history, as the CASO Station was built between 1871 and 1873 and remains the largest of the 31 railway stations constructed in Ontario during that decade. This event continues the organization’s focus on community engagement, following the Chamber’s recent success with its 2026 Impact Awards, which raised $3,500 for The INN St. Thomas-Elgin.
