The St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce is preparing to host its 52nd annual members’ golf day in St. Thomas. The event will take place on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the St. Thomas Golf & Country Club in Union.
The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with a pre-round brunch, followed by an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. Participants will play 18 holes in a scramble format, with carts and midway refreshments included in the registration. Throughout the event, golfers can participate in several on-course contests, including longest drive, putting, and closest to the pin.
Registration for the event is open for both individuals and groups. The cost is $275 plus HST for a single golfer, while a foursome can be registered for $975 plus HST. Business owners or professionals interested in participating or learning about sponsorship opportunities to feature their business on the course can contact the event coordinator by emailing [email protected].
The chamber, which was established in 1869, represents more than 625 member businesses in the region. The host venue, the St. Thomas Golf & Country Club, is a private course originally designed by architect Stanley Thompson in 1922 and is currently ranked among the top courses in Canada.
