Vermilion residents will have a chance to chat with Mayor Robert Snow over a cup of coffee on July 9, 2026, during an informal drop-in at Town Hall. The event runs from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 5021-49 Avenue.
The Coffee with the Mayor session is described by the town as a recurring way for people to connect with their mayor and community. It gives residents a relaxed space to ask questions or share ideas outside of formal council meetings.
Mayor Snow was elected in October 2025 after working more than 24 years as a paramedic and serving as a town councillor. He also holds regular office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but says the coffee events are an extra way to stay accessible. Council priorities since taking office have included housing growth, airport work, and restoring the old CN building in the provincial park.
No appointment is needed for the July 9 gathering. Anyone who wants to talk about town plans or simply meet the mayor is welcome to swing by.
