Claresholm is gearing up for its annual Fair Days celebration, running August 6 to 9, 2026, with a packed schedule of family-friendly activities in southern Alberta.
The four-day event invites visitors to make the town part of their summer road trip adventure under the tagline “Don’t Just Pass Through Claresholm… Make it Part of the Adventure!” according to the Town of Claresholm.
Fair Days will feature a Candy Parade where floats and horseback riders hand out sweets to children, a Drift Demo on Second Street East, and Lemonade on the Lawn at the Claresholm and District Museum. The museum event offers free tea and homemade baked goods starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the CPR station building, rain or shine.
The celebration typically runs Thursday through Sunday, with additional activities like western and carnival games, live music, a rodeo, a Show N Shine vehicle exhibition, pancake breakfasts, and a chili cook-off.
