The ArtSea Community Arts Council is now accepting applications from local artists and artist groups for the 2027 ArtSea Gallery rental season in Sidney, British Columbia. Applications opened on August 24, 2026, and artists have several weeks to prepare their requests.
The gallery, located in Tulista Park along the Sidney waterfront, offers one-week exhibition slots for $700 each, with a $200 non-refundable deposit required at the time of application. Artists are asked to review the gallery rental guide, check available dates, and identify three preferred rental weeks before applying. Processing takes two to four weeks.
ArtSea also reminds the public that the 2026 ArtSea Studio Tour will take place on October 3 and 4, 2026. This self-guided event features 44 local artists at 33 studio locations across the Saanich Peninsula. An interactive online map is available on the ArtSea website to help visitors plan their route.
The studio tour is one of Vancouver Island’s longest-running self-guided studio tours, now in its 32nd year. Last year’s event drew more than 7,000 studio visits over a single weekend, demonstrating strong community support for local artists.
