Residents who use Brockville’s specialized Para Transit service now have a more flexible and convenient way to book their trips. The City of Brockville launched its new Specialized (Para) Transit Booking System on September 10, 2026, as part of the 2026 Capital Budget.

The new platform centralizes and streamlines scheduling and operations, giving riders greater control and independence. Eligible riders can book and manage trips through the BEST – Brockville Transit mobile app, an online booking portal, or by phone. New features include real-time vehicle tracking, same-day trip requests based on availability, personalized rider profiles, and the ability to book trips up to two weeks in advance.

To use the app or online portal, riders must first register for an account with Brockville Transit by calling 613-341-2279 or emailing [email protected]. Para Transit service is available Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with no service on Sundays or statutory holidays.

“This project reflects our commitment to improving accessibility and enhancing the services our residents rely on every day,” said Patrick Brown, Supervisor of Transportation and Fleet Services. “The new system gives riders more control over how they book and manage their trips, while helping Brockville Transit deliver a more efficient and responsive service. We have received positive feedback from both riders and drivers.”

Para Transit serves eligible Brockville residents who are unable to use conventional public transit due to mobility or cognitive disabilities. Service is available throughout the city and extends to St. Lawrence Lodge and Sherwood Park Manor.
