The Blackfalds Bulldogs defeated the Okotoks Oilers 7-1 on March 21, 2026, at the Eagle Builders Centre in Blackfalds, Alberta. This victory allowed the home team to finish the year without losing a single game to the Oilers during the 2025-2026 season.
Thomas Neu led the scoring for the Bulldogs by scoring three goals during the game. He started the night with a goal during a power play at 12:36 of the first period and scored again before the end of the frame, later completing his hat trick early in the second period.
The Bulldogs are now tied for first place in the Interior East Division with 71 points as they head into the final games of the year. Forward Luke Dahlen scored the goal that put the team ahead for good in the first period, shortly after the Oilers had briefly tied the game.
