The game against the Cranbrook Bucks marks a major milestone for the team, which has seen a significant improvement this year. The Bulldogs have moved from 15 wins last season to 37 wins so far in the 2025-26 season, putting them in a tie for first place in the Interior East Division with the Brooks Bandits. Head coach Ryan Tobler has guided the team to a current record of 37 wins, 14 losses, and one overtime loss.
Local fans have supported the team since it moved to the community in 2021 under owners Doug and Jodie Quinn. The organization has focused on developing young talent, with several players recently earning spots on college hockey programs in the United States. Following the Friday night event, the Bulldogs will finish their regular season with an away game against the Sherwood Park Crusaders on Saturday.
