The Town of Blackfalds is preparing for its annual Community Garage Sale on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Residents across the community are invited to host sales from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, creating an opportunity for neighbours to clear out unwanted items and browse for deals on furniture, clothing, and toys.
Residents who wish to have their address included in the town-wide garage sale map must register by emailing [email protected] by May 21, 2026. Once registration closes, the official event brochure and map will be available to the public by 3:00 PM on Friday, May 22. These materials can be accessed online or picked up in person at the Civic Centre and the Abbey Centre.
Following the main event, a Kick it to the Curb day will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This follow-up day is designated for residents to place any remaining unsold items at the curb for others to collect.
Those attending the garage sales can also visit the Beyond Food Community Hub for their 4th Annual BBQ. The event will be held at 5014 Waghorn Street from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and attendees are reminded that the BBQ will be cash only.
